Hey BGS Families! 💚

“You play ball like a girl!” — and around here, that’s the best compliment ever. 😉

We’re beyond excited to announce that BGS is bringing Sandlot-style softball to Tamarack!

Here’s what you need to know:

🏟️ When: November 17th–21st

👧 Who: Open to all girls — everyone’s invited!

Format:

🥎 8U: Coach pitch only

🥎 10U, 12U, 14U: Player pitch

No rosters, no pressure — just show up, get assigned to a team, and “have fun — you’re in the Sandlot, kid!”

🎁 Cost: Absolutely FREE!

All we ask is that each player bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. Let’s share some joy this season both on and off the field. 💚

💬 A quick note:

As many of you know, we normally partner with Little League for Sandlot week. However, due to an upcoming tournament some of our players are in, we won’t be teaming up this time — but trust us, the fun’s still going strong!

We’re also hoping to see our high school girls jump in the mix. It’s always awesome to watch them play for the love of the game — “Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.”

A board member will be on site for all games to help keep things smooth, safe, and full of Sandlot spirit.

So grab your glove, your best Sandlot energy, and get ready for a week of softball, friendship, and pure fun at Tamarack! 💚🥎
